Cloud City

The overhead light Cloud City originates from a process centered on paper. The latter is cut, incised, and folded in order to create an assemblage of geometric shapes and counter-shapes. On each one of these, a specific graphic is applied. Traveling through each of the paper’s volumes, the light creates different degrees of transparency. Suspended by an invisible thread, the lamp appears to levitate. Its modules are evocative of those of modern architecture.
