Inspired by the patterns formed when natural materials are sliced. Analogue and digital methods were used in harmony. It began with sketching and one-to-one modelling with tubes, and finally brought to life using 3D modelling and a CNC mill. A surprisingly refined aesthetic is given to a basic material – recycled cardboard tube and a paper glue.

The seating position is functional, relaxing and reassuringly stable.
